Waterbury Area Private Industry Council,

 

                        Respondent                  June 3, 1986

 

            The above-captioned complaint was heard as a contested case on May 12, 1986, at which time the complainant and the respondent appeared and, after discussing the matter, reached an agreement in settlement of the complaint.  Pursuant to such agreement, counsel for the City of Waterbury agreed to send a memorandum to the respondent and to the chief executive officer of each of the respondent's member towns regarding the requirement of 1-21(a), G.S. that a two-thirds affirmative vote be taken prior to discussing non-agenda items at a regular meeting.  The complaint was thereupon withdrawn.

 

            The following order by the Commission is hereby recommended on the basis of the record concerning the above-captioned complaint.

 

            1.         The complaint is hereby dismissed.
