The above-captioned matter was heard as a contested case on January 28, 1993, at which time the complainant and the respondent appeared, stipulated to certain facts and presented testimony, exhibits and argument on the complaint.
At the hearing in this matter the complainant agreed that his request for records was limited to the 1991 and 1992 gross salaries earned by two teachers who work in the Suffield Public School system. The respondent has agreed to provide these records.
The following order by the Commission is hereby recommended on the basis of the record concerning the above-captioned complaint:
1. The complaint is hereby dismissed.
2. The Commission wishes to remind the respondent that the Freedom of Information Act does not restrict disclosure of records to Connecticut residents and/or taxpayers only.
