In the Matter of a Complaint by Clare E. Kindall, Complainant
against
Peter Matos, Deputy Commissioner, State of Connecticut,
Department of Correction, and State of Connecticut, Department of
Correction Respondents
The above-captioned matter was scheduled to be heard as a contested case on September 30, 1997, at which time the complainant and the respondents appeared and indicated that they had reached an agreement to settle their dispute, however, they would report to the Commission by October 8, 1997 should there be a need to go forward with a hearing. By letter dated October 8, 1997, the complainant informed the Commission that the parties had successfully resolved their dispute.
The following order by the Commission is hereby recommended on the basis of the record concerning the above-captioned complaint:
1. The complaint is hereby dismissed.
2. The Commission commends both the complainant and the respondents for their efforts in resolving their earlier differences.
