FREEDOM OF INFORMATION COMMISSION

The above-captioned matter was scheduled to be heard as a contested case on January 22, 2009, at which time the complainant and the respondents appeared.  At such time, the complainant informed the Commission that the parties had settled the instant matter through the Commission’s ombudsman program.  For purposes of hearing, this matter was consolidated with Docket #FIC 2008-623; James Quattro v. Linda Roache, Operations Manager, Regional Office #11, State of Connecticut, Department of Social Services; and State of Connecticut, Department of Social Services. 

The following order by the Commission is hereby recommended on the basis of the record concerning the above-captioned complaint:

1.      Based on the parties’ settlement, the case is hereby dismissed.

2.  The Commission commends the parties on having reached a non-litigated settlement in this matter.
