The year 2000 was a significant milestone for the Connecticut Freedom of Information Commission and Act. On May 3, the Commission celebrated the 25th anniversary of the passage of the Freedom of Information Act at a reception and dinner held at The New Haven Lawn Club. The Commission also celebrated the 25th anniversary of its creation on July 1, which marked the date of the very first Commission meeting. Below are photographs taken at each of the events.
